Congratulations to the TITANS OF ST.THERESE

The Girls "B" squad - 2nd Place Team Trophy with a score of 45 points

The Girls Varsity squad - 4th Place Team Trophy with a score of 30 points.

These are amazing accomplishments because there were only 4 Varsity Girls and 7 "B" Girls competing at the CYO Finals. GREAT JOB!!! To qualify to compete at CYO Finals, you have to prove yourself as one of the top 8 athletes in a particular evemt. Each one of the TITANS listed below proved to be a Top 8 CYO athlete, and 8 Titans qualified for multiple events. More congratualtions go to 4X400M "B" girls CYO Record Holders, Jennifer Enriquez, Ariel Maier, Vivian Tran, and Jacqueline Vargas. They beat the 2006 record by 6 seconds. 1600M CYO Record Holder Stephanie Vargas beat her own 2007 record by 6 seconds. Heres how they finished the season at the CYO Finals.

GIRLS "B" - Tran, Enriquez, Pintado, Maier 4X100 M Relay - 8th place 1:05:32 

Jacqueline Vargas - 400M - 2nd place 1:06.21 

Jennifer Enriquez - 800M - 1st Place 2:43.53

Ariel Maier - 800M - 2nd Place 2:43.71

Alessandra Farfan - 1200M - 7th Place 5:08.65

Final Words: Success can be defined as accomplishing a goal. It's true that the athletes listed here were successful at CYO, and it's equally true that the Titans Track Team was successful this year because each student-athlete improved during the season. Regardless of talent or ability, everyone contributed to the total success of the team by doing their personal best each practice and meet. Be proud Titans.
