Projects
Just a reminder that Wednesday is our field trip to the Reagan Library. Students must have their permission slip and $11 to cover the cost of the bus in by Tuesday at the latest. We still have room for parent chaperones. Please pack a lunch in a disposable bag and come on time. We will leave promptly at 8:30 AM.
The State Brochure Project is due this Friday, May 9th. Students received an information sheet on this in the beginning of April.
Last Friday, information on a required science project was distributed. Students need to work on a body system. They will work in a group but each student is responsible for a particular part of the project. These are due May 19th and students will place them in the school science fair on the 21st. Students may do an extra optional science project of their own choice for the fair too and will receive extra extra credit for it.
Student are required to independently read two books again this quarter. They can choose a book and complete a report for the first one. I will distribute a book to read for the second selection. Students will be tested on it in early June. The report is due by June 6th.
May Crowning will be this Friday, May 9th. Each student should bring a flower in on Friday.
