Saint Therese School is a  Roman Catholic School (grades Kindergarten through Eighth grade) located in Deanery 10, San Gabriel Region within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Saint Therese school adheres to the Archdiocesan policies set forth in the Administrative and Instructional Handbooks.

Saint Therese School is fully accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA)  We completed the most recent accreditation process in 2003 and our school was awarded the maximum period of 6 years.  This term will be renewed in 2009.  The administration, faculty and staff of Saint Therese School are committed to providing a safe, caring Catholic learning environment for our students. Together with parents, we support and nurture the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth of our students and prepare them to live moral, responsible, and effective lives.

We, the administration, faculty and staff of Saint Therese School, recognize the importance of cooperation with our parents, the primary educators, in helping to develop good intellectual and moral habits in the total education of each child. Our goals embrace the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical needs of the students we serve.

As Catholic educators, we strive to live a life which creates an atmosphere that bears witness to Gospel Values. We are united in the belief that God is the Father of all. Guided by His Spirit, we enthusiastically participate in the Church's mission of Catholic education. We also recognize the changing circumstances of today's society and strive to accommodate these conditions by developing programs that will best serve the needs of individual students, their families and the community as a whole.

Saint Therese School is a living example of a Catholic family community in which all members assume responsibility for its continuing growth and success. Recognizing the elementary years as critical to the spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and creative development of the child, we provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for the education of the total child.

Working in close alliance with the parents, the primary educators of our students, and with the entire parish staff, we provide the students with opportunities for exploration and growth in their own Catholic faith, in their Christian responsibility to others, in forming attitudes of living and learning that will become an integral part of their entire lives.

We provide a strong academic education in all curriculum areas, giving our students a firm foundation for further success in high school. We make special efforts to provide added assistance and extra challenges to meet the individual needs of the students at both ends of the learning spectrum.

At Saint Therese School, we strive  to give our students the skills and values necessary to become productive members in the Catholic Church of the future.
